ok, the truck is very nice, but because the battery in under the chassi? |
lower center of gravity. the batteries weigh alot. gotta keep em as low as possible.
but the batteries are more exposure at crash...
Very nice, i see your usiung a spektrum dx3 to. i love this system, glitch free! Thsoe batteries shouldnt be like that, they could explode if you land too hard:p
yeah but they will not be the first thing to bottom out...skids are much lower as is the chassis brace. it would take something sticking up only where the batteries are to hurt them. plus they are old wore out batteries. if they did fry i wouldnt cry about it. im just itching for a reason to buy lipos:)
just please dont mount real lipos like that, i dont wanna see a black truck!
yes i am using the dx3. but what im wondering is how you knew that. coulda been using any spectrum unit. and i love it. moved up from a stock radio to this. only have 2 recievers at this time though. and 3 cars. kidna sucks to change them out. but oh well. at 70ish a piece its hard to justify another one.
and no if i got lipos i would be mounting them on the top. with care. haha. with lipos weight isnt as big of a concern either.
I just thought you know, using that radio and i dont see much people using the dx6!
but other radios like m11 or anyother module based radio works with spectrum too. just giving ya a hard time.
