E-revo problem
Hey guys..
I just bought an used e-revo, but now, after clean it a litle bit, I noticed that when the motor spins, each differential spins the wheels in opposite directions.. I mean... if the front wheels spins to the front, the rear one will be spinning to the rear.. I'm a noob, but I'd like to know where is tho problem, so i dont need to diassemble it completly... Any Idea? PS. sorry about the bat english, but i'm Portuguese... Thanks |
just flip one of the diffs over and it will fix the problem..

I have found the rear end to be the simple end to work on. If you take apart the rear, you don't have to deal with the steering. I aggree. One of the diffs is upside down. |
I'm still waiting for the new motor..
to move forward, whatching both driveshafts from the bottom, to where should they spin? Just for me to know what is wrond without need to diassemble both.. Thanks |

Your truck was taken apart before........and one of the diffs was installed upside down. This will make the front wheels spin the opposite direction as the rear wheels do. To fix this, you have to take one of the diffs out, flip it, then put the truck back together again. |
as long as they spin the same you are fine. :)

Yeah, but doesn't matter if they both get assembled upside down?

As long as the wheels spin in the same direction. |
Ok. Thanks to everybody.
I changed from savage to e-revo, but the mechanical of e-revo is VERY different.. |
Problem solved. Thanks to everybody :)

Ha! Man, I can't tell you how many times I did that when first tearing in to Emaxx's, etc. DOH!! Glad you got it fixed! Hope you shimmed that bad boy while it was out!

On the diff case I painted small arrows so I knew which one was in what direction. Made the same mistake several times before marking the cases
