RC-Monster Forums - Back again with a Brushless MBX6 and a Brushless MBX6t

First of all I have to say hi to all and thank you to Mike who helped me out a lot of times in the past years.

I am involved in that RC stuff a long long time now, but since I have two children now I have not the time as in the past to race on the track.
But I am still addicted and can not keep my hands of that little nice shiny things… (but I drive now just for fun in the Backyard and some other open places)

Here what I did over the last couple of years. Since I enjoy building this stuff as much as driving, I had some cars… but most of them I sold,
because that stuff is expensive and its difficult to keep them all. Mostly I had to sell the car when I decided to get a new one.

I started my Brushless carrier with an e-maxx (some older members will maybe remember me) which was good looking, but not good for driving…
every time when I was out something was broken… all the aluminum stuff was not durable enough, so I sold it after a couple of months….

After that I bought a Savage… but the middle transmission and the TVP’s drived me crazy, not a good car to work on…
so it had to go after a couple of months …

Since Lauterbacher is near my town I bought one of those and modified it a little, but since this car is heavy as hell and just 2wd…
it had to go also after a couple of months …

Now I built me my first nitro Mugen, (oh man the quality of Mugen is so good)… And after a while driving I decided to go brushless with that thing.
I used a Plettenberg BigMaxximum and a Schulze ESC which burned on 6s twice!!! I was really pi.. off because I had to rebuild the Mugen twice
(new Body, new Lipos…etc) and Schulze did not really helped me out with that ESC. So the Mugen had to go…

After that I went to RC Bikes… nice and fast, but all in all good for flat surfaces.
I guess I am more into RC Cars than in bikes.

Last year I bought a HPI Baja 5T which I was driven over the summer…. but this thing is just 2wd and also not really good to work on.

At Christmas my son wanted a Savage, but I do not like that HPI stuff anymore, and built him a Mugen Buggy (but since he is more
into Monstertrucks, I made a little Monster out of the Buggy). Good decision, this thing is so durable. Oh man, I forgot how good
those Mugens are. I enjoyed building this thing so much that I decided to get rid of the Baja 5t and built a Mugen truggy for me….

So, I am now set for the upcoming season…
