I've just bought a AE B4RS with the standard ESC and Brushd Reedy motor in it, what would happen if i took a 2S 5000mah hard case pack that I have and hooked it up? Would things likely fry?:oh:

Be great if i could use these lipo's instead of the Nimh packs I have, even better if i don't have to shell out for a new ESC and motor to do so!!

you would need a lvc fitting to stop you damaging your lipo other than that you are fine

Novak's 2 cell smart stop should work. However, if you ever plan to (or think you might) upgrade to brushless, you could just get a MM ESC instead and configure it to brushed mode. Would have lots more programming features, an adjustable LVC built in, and is ready for a brushless motor in the future.
