FLM Flux

Do I need anything else, if I buy this set for my Flux, and how is it compared to just buy the ext. tvpīs for my Flux?

Dont see why it wouldn't work. Depends on what your goal is - do you want a center mounted single battery set up (which this gives), or two external mounts (which the FLUX extended TVP's gives)?

Klausen 01.22.2010 02:45 PM

Thatīs my concern. I kind a like it all to be inside the tvpīs, but wondering if the small space between the motor and the battery will provide too much heat.

Klausen 01.22.2010 03:58 PM

Well, just convinced myself about it was agood ides, and bought the conversion set.

Good choice- I wouldnt worry about heat really, so long as there is a small air gap between lipo and motor nothing will get hurt- the holes in the TVPs allow plenty of ventilation. You can look at Nard Cox's recent build with this chassis, he can probably help you with any questions or issues:

Nice to hear, thanks for the info.

Hey Klausen, hows the car coming along? (just curious  )

Klausen 02.10.2010 12:21 PM

I would like to now that too. money deducted from my account 2 weeks ago, and track and trace shows my package are into customs in Canada

I look forward to the arrival, but I guess I just have to wait.

Nard Cox 02.10.2010 05:41 PM

Customs in Canada, but you are from Denmark right ? Did you order here from Mike? If so then e-mail him to check into the matter because somethings wrong then.

Klausen 02.11.2010 07:13 AM

Yeah I am from Denmark, and Mike is on the case, so hopefully I will have the package soon. Havenīt been any updates from USPS since february 7th. though

You won't regret it; the only problem are the straps/holders for your batteries. You need to create a decent way to mount them, the relative small pins that hold the batteries are too small for my likings, the LIPO's will deform after a crash.

It's a beautiful kit, and a true pleasure to install.

something to keep in mind; the news here was that customs are very busy at this moment, due to the fact that more and drugs is spotted in parcels. (seems to be a trent) i need to wait 4 weeks before a package was declared by customs. This is most likely causing the delay for you too.

Klausen 02.11.2010 11:34 AM

OK, thanks. The thing is not the time in customs. USPS send it into customs in Canada, and not Denmark where I live. But Mike is on it, so hopefully they find it soon.

I have been thinking about the batterymounts as well, but I will figure something out, when I have build it.

Nard Cox 04.08.2010 03:27 AM

It's been a while. Any updates??
