Yellow.....Glue? On a solder joint...
Well, my JST plugs finally came in, and need to know what this glue shenanigans is.
I'm gonna need to desolder the power and put on a new cable... Anyone know how to get this off? |
Here are the pictures.
And shutup about the hand porn :D http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g6...4/IMG_3926.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g6...4/IMG_3925.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g6...4/IMG_3924.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g6...4/IMG_3923.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g6...4/IMG_3922.jpg |
What is that doomeyflodgett you're working on there?
I wonder what the purpose of that goo is? Maybe it was placed there thinking it would help limit the flexing of the wire at the board. In any case, I would scrape, scratch or pull as much of that off before I started soldering. It's bound to be stinky when it burns. LOL |

You can't post sexy man hands like that and tantalize us and expect no comments. Could you post a pic wearing a torn silk glove and holding a cigarette? RAWR!! |
It's a 4in1 board, it's like the receiver, esc, servo board, etc for my Lama V4 by Esky...
yeah, a helidoopter. |
Ended up just taking the small blade screwdriver to it and peeling it off. Scary, this thing is tiny as...........a needle in a haystack
