Upgrade to Xray XB8EC
 

Hi,
I'm a Truggy driver (nitro and brushless) and from time to time I playing around with my Brushless Xray XB8EC. This is my back-up in case of my XT8 truggy is broken.

Today at the track I drove a friend Brushless Buggy. He have LOSI 2.0 with the EZRUN ESC and motor. I think I'm in love...

This Buggy is so easy to control and fun to drive, jumping the doubles like a Kangaroo on Steroids. After that I felt that My XB8ec is like a Tank comparing to that Losi - going slower and jumping lower.

Now to my question, any cheap way to upgrade my Xray to make it close to the performance of the LOSI? I know some drivers installed the 808 shocks but I’m not sure if this is enough.
I don't want to invest to much since my prime car is a truggy.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, the answer is no. I'm running 808 shocks on my EC and even though it does handle nice, it's not as nimble as the newer lighter buggies.

You can always try to find an 808 roller and transplant your setup into it.
