on the Sr3300T spektrum rx...a question

I am already using the 3 channels...last one is for an external bec...so this leaves me short on the fan plug for my mm. Can I power the fan on top of the mm through any other slot on the rx?

Or am I SOL. Too much of a chicken to find out..would rather ask than ruin a $ 100- rx

NO!!! The sensor ports are 3.3v IIRC use a Y splitter - the traxxas ones are cheap

Yup I was right....

From the manual

Power the receiver through any port that is not
a 3.3V Telemetry port. The amber LED will flash
continuously, indicating the receiver is in bind mode.

WARNING: Do not power the SR3300T
through the LAP, TEMP, or RPM Port the
receiver will be damaged

So it goes I wouldn't draw power either and you'd only get 3.3v

I read that Chris after posting. So I can split the AX ch which has the bec in it or should I do another ch.

This is why I double check first!
