FastLane machine Savage XL Hybrid Bulkheads

Hello there folks, I would like to get a pair of FastLane machine Savage XL Hybrid Bulkheads for my Brushless Savage X SS, already transformed with Flux/XL cups (those with a larger inner diameter) and dogbones, and I wonder whether the bulks are compatible with such Cups (i.e., if the cups will fit in the bulk holes)

I'm asking this because I noticed that a pair of cups are sold togheter with the bulk, and is it not clear to me if such cups are the same of HPI Flux cups or not.

Thanks, Andrea.

Hi all, to whom it may concern, here the answer fron Fastlane:

My question:
Dear Sirs, I wonder whether the "FLM40010 XL Hybrid Bulkheads" are compatible with Savage Flux/XL diff (those having larger cups than Savage X), so that the larger diff cups fits the diff case holes.

I'm asking this because I noticed that a pair of cups are sold togheter with the bulk, and is it not clear to me if such cups are the same of HPI Flux/XL cups or not.

Thanks, Andrea.

Fastlane reply:
That is why the cups are in there. Because the stock cups diameter is to large. The cups have the larger 11mm ball socket, for the Flux and XL.

My comments:
So, the HPI XL/Flux Cups doesn't fit the Fastlane Bulkheads and this is why FLM includes it own cups with XL Bulkhead. Such cups have the same inner diameter of XL/Flux, but the external diameter is lower than genuine HPI Cups, so that they can fit the Bulkheads holes.

Bye.

That's correct. I have a thread in the FLM section that speaks of this...
