How did this happen? So the motor doesnt spin at all? How long in the run did the controller smoke up? I bet if you send your motor/controller to mike he could find out how or why it happened. Hope this helps.

help meeee... |
The front endbell is threaded on the Lehner motors. I wouldn't go taking it apart unless you are prepared to lose your warranty. The motors are hand made, and I siuppose it is possible that there was a defect. I would look real close at your setup to make sure something else wasn't the cause. One likely issue is the motor mount screws. The Lehner motors have a very small/short thread on the front endbell, and a screw that is too long will easily damage the windings(which will indeed take out a speed controller).

I mike i control the screw, and is ok, can i send the motor to you?
yep. I will be glad to have a look. :)
thanks very much mike, please send me a mail whit your adress

That sucks. Sorry to hear the bad luck. I run a 1950 on a 9920 with good luck so far. I like it. Hope it is nothing to major.
Do Lehner say what is a safe amount of insertion? i have 2.5mm on my 1950.
i dont think so, but that sounds about right, although i think you can get a little more maybe 3 or 3.5.
There looks to be only about 2.5mm of thread in there, after that there looks like some kind of gasket/seal or something.i have the motor well supported at the rear so hopefully it should be enough.
