Another battery tray question

i need a tray for my mbx5t. i will have to get a custom one to fit my turnigy lipos as the 6t tray is slightly to small. my question is the mud guard clearance,is the the recess between the guard and the metal chassis? are the custom trays pre drilled? does the price include the straps? can we stipulate 2 or three straps?

With simple length and width dimensions, a custom tray is built with the stated dimensions for the inside battery pocket. Mu guard clearance is built into the tray as well - we make the trays accomodate 1.25" (31.75mm) or more distance from the spur to the mudguard, which works fine on the mbx5t. Custom trays are not pre-drilled. Unless the tray is very small, I usually design and cut it to use 2 straps, which are included. We also include 4 m4 screws to mount the tray.

mbx5t-6t-custom lipo trays

hey mike
do the custom trays come with the esc shelf? i read 'MBX6T and XB808 trays are designed to "bolt on" to the stock chassis for these vehicle and feature an integrated esc shelf and pre-drilled holes for battery tray and esc attachment, along with a pocketed underside for esc wire routing' if i were to order a mbx6t tray would it fit my mbx5t? i like the sound of the underside esc wire routing.
cheers
