A serpent has TRACTION in quantities that a CEN Matrix can only dream of and thus can absorb seriously large amounts of power if you want to go fast circa 1200-1500 watts, no thats not peak watts thats average, draining a 6s 5000mAh pack in 5 mins, the novak combo would turn into molten puddles of metal and plastic under that load.

Before anyone says they know someone with a Novak Serpent that hasn't melted, I'm not saying it can't be made to work at a reasonable temperature, just that doing so will not deliver enough power to get anywhere near the limits of the chassis and won't be nearly as fast as one using a suitable power system.

I have a really old Serpent Quattro in my cupboard. Got it off my brother years ago, not sure if it's complete due to it being in pieces.

Might have to bust it out & see if I can get a roller out of it.

I'll keep you posted if I decide to convert it.
