All BL Hyper ST owners....come forth with pics & info, please.
Hey guys,
A mate of mine saw my other mates 3.3 BL Revo go last night & was so blown away by the performance that he rang me straight after & asked me how to convert his Hyper ST. Is there a kit out there already that can make this easier for him? What gearing are you running, what batteries, motor & ESC? I have a spare NIB Mamba Monster here & a couple of Medusa 2000kv's (70 & 80mm). Would the motors be suitable on 4S or should I look at higher kv? Any help would be appreciated, thanks. |
Rcm hyper cd mount and the 80mm medusa would go nicely on 4s. I have mine geared 14/48 iirc w/ a 1515. I made my own batt box, but there are lots of ways to do it

Thanks Finnster.
All info helps, but, I'm mostly looking for bolt on stuff as this guy has no idea what he's doing, so, the easier, the better. BTW, nice block of flaps in your avatar. :-) |
:)
Everything but the batt box is bolt on. For that you can get a custom one made by Mike, or buy one from one of the e-'uggy kits like losi. Really quite easy to do. |
Wow, I must have been gone from here for a while as I've been browsing through Mikes shop, Impakt, etc & found half the motors I bought originally are no longer stocked.
Medusa has stopped making motors all together too! Holy batcrap! Even my Tekno Neu 1515/2.5D/F isn't available. What's happened? Massive failures, customer complaints??? Companies out done by Tekin? Does someone know? Mikes battery tray sizes are confusing. What would be perfect for the Hyper ST with a 4S 147mm pack? |
the cc/neu motor is really nice for the price. i run mine in both my savage flux and my new bl truggy. it doesn't break 140F. it runs very nice on 4s geared for 40mph.
