What balancer and plugs ???
 

Boys, I'll put together some serious Lipos. Now I need someone to point me to a good balancer and suitable plugs/tabs.

I thought Hyperion, any suggestions?

The Hyperion is probably the best for how much it costs. The next step up would be a Thunder Power 10cell balancer, but that costs $100.

As for balancing taps/plugs, it depends which balancer you go with. TP makes its own type, and Hyperion uses Polyquest plugs.

I just converted some kokam lipos to the Hyperion. I ordered the balancer and plugs from maxamps. The plugs and balancer come with easy to follow instructions. I noticed more top end speed and runtime with the packs balanced.
