Hv 4.5

can the HV4.5 be ran
on 3s &4s ?

Yeah you can run it on either. Just follow Novak guidelines for gearing. Seriously, follow their rule of thumb for the HV4.5 and which rc your running it in and you'll be happy for a while. Outside that gearing and bad things happen.

The only racing application we advise for the HV 4.5 is 4x4 SCT on 2S. You can do speed runs 3S or 4S, but we do not recommend racing 1:8 vehicles with these higher voltage.

Everytime I think of the HV4.5 I always think of emaxx. I didn't even think the question may be for something larger. It was a good setup when I had it in my flm maxx on 4s.

With proper gearing and good lipos I can see the novak hv motors doing fine in a lighter truck such as the emaxx. Put some light weight wheels and ties on it, like the savage x ss kit ones, and the load would be very light. With the reman parts on novak's sight it is pretty cheap to setup a system these days!

Yep, I have two HV4.5's. One sleeve moves, the other doesn't. Both rip in SCRT10 & Slash 4x4 :)
