E-Zilla Video and Quick Question

Hi im running a brushless e-zilla with a 9L in video here some of you might like to see im very impressed with it need a bigger pinion as it was hot and had way to much bottom end and so far the drive chain is holding up how ever after a few silly jump the shocks arnt i have the bits to repair the shocks as diffrent bits keep breaking but could do with nowing the wt of the stock shock oil does any1 now?

The brakes look to work very well. It seems to wheelie good to.

The truck looks fast.
What exactly is getting hot? If the motor or controller are getting hot, you'll need to get a smaller pinion, not a larger one. The wheelie action and temps can be decreased by lowering the gear ratio (a smaller pinion, a larger spur or a little of both).

Sorry, don't know anything about the parts on that truck.

it definately wheelies and has good brakes

I think the oil weight is 30-40 stock.

I would politely ask my neighbours if they would turn down the music.. You almost can't hear the lovely brushless wining..

You need to be a bit more easier on the throttle mate! the diffs are not too strong on that monster!

Nothing is getting hot and it has to much torque thats why i need a bigger pinion.

Serum i was being heavy on the throttle on purpose to test the drive line as to wether it can hold up if not id put stock back in but as it seems fine the 9L is stayin put :027:.

Thanks for the comments guys if no1 nows ill have to guess ill try 30wt.

Being hard on the throttle is not the way to test your drivetrain, it is a way of getting to the end of it sooner..

i drove my maxx with stock drivetrain on 18 cells and a 7XL and it survived good.. it was rather fast, nice acceleration but would it take 10 charges?

ok i have just brought a new controller and motor for my maxx so that i can keep the zilla brushless i needed to now that the first time the throttle was used abit heavy the drive chain wasnt going to self distruct before i spent that cash and as it is only for bashin in genral use i may be abit heavy on the drive chain and my little brother may use it abit and he will definetly be heavy on it so it was a good test for the sort of use the truck is going to get.

I wish i could be light on the thottle it would save me alot of money but i wouldnt enjoy it as much so i cant :P
