Well, considering it comes with a VXL (feigao) motor, and a Medusa 50mm is better than a Feigao S, then I'd say "yes".

I'd say yes - it has no issue with a crt.5

snellemin 03.24.2010 12:51 PM

It ran good in my crt.5 as well.

I also run a 50 series Medusa in my daughter's crt.5 w/no issues

The medusa is about 2x as strong iMO, I have both... you made a good choice. I run a 50mm in both my hyper 10SC and had on in my hyper mini STe

I run a Medusa 36x50 4800 KV V2 in my Jammin SCRT10 on 2S and it's a beast, runs cool, and is very efficient.

The 50mm medusas are a popular choice for the E-savage based RB3s. Which weigh around 8lbs.

I got a 50mm Medusa 3300 in my Hyper 10 SC geared to the moon (well 18t pinion) and hasn't gone over 100f yet. Bucket loads of torque.

Freind of mine ran one in his and it was great, only problem is since the rear of the motor faces forward and is not secured very well a few bad nose landings and the rear popped off. Secure the rear of the can and it is a great motor.
