Although their lipos leave a lot to be desired....MaxAmps.com is my choice to order shrink and balance taps from. Their website is easy to navigate and find what you want. My advice though, if your only looking for enough to cover one pack, e-mail them. You might get the shipping a lot cheaper that way, just don't e-mail Jason!

Well, I bought a meter of the Red 50mm. btw, 50mm is the smallest it will shrink to. So not a very accurate description. Laid flat, the "50mm" is actually 80mm across.

BUT...............

I love this stuff!

Recently, I bought a lightly used True RC 15C 8000mah 3S pack, that was in need of a new power lead and new balance lead.

After some fixing up, I was disappointed that this new shrink was just a little too small to slide over it.

Determined, I slipped a length of this strink over the handles of two claw hammers and stretched it, until it would fit. LOL

I LOVE the final results! This is like installing Rubber Armor! Much thicker than conventional shrink!

Check out how it conforms to the pack. Good Protection.

looks great Sikes, dam near professional !

I've used the 50mm myself for reshinking some Zippys and I to was impressed with the thickness and ease of use of the HC shrink.

As much as I hate to admit it, MA has some decent qaulity HS also, and in Huge sizes also. I've had to break down and order from those ding dongs a few times over the years. The prices were decent and they ship fast.

I've always used ebay- I used some of that thick shrink to do some nimh packs once- its hella thick, more like rubber than plastic- definately good stuff for bashers to use.

cheapbatterypacks.com, use them over maxamps. All of my pack building supplies were purchased from them. Great service and fast shipping, made dozens of orders never had 1 issue.
