Tracked Baja

Well, after seeing the pics of the Tracked Baja 5t from RCX, i started thinking, would it be hard to make my Baja use tracks, does it have to be as complex is that 5t to be functional? It seems to me that you could just mount up some independant brakes on the front and rear hubs.. Am i wrong in this assumption? I guess maybe a Bajas diff is too heavy duty to function in this way. I may try this if others beleive that it would work, adn as long as it didnt require a great deal of custom fab.

The owner of Baja Skunkworks built that, he has a whole build thread for it on RCU (username "brice arnold"). Unfortunately it will probably never be bashed and it was built for show purposes according to his build thread. And as far as a steering system, it uses some complicated setup in the transmission, some kind of dual clutch system if I remember right, but I believe it works on similar principles as a diff with a brake disc on either side.
