Help Issue With Mamba Max Esc
 

Hey guys,
Well I bought a Slash 4X4 PE :yipi: last week after I sold my slash 2wd and my crt.5 roller. So I install my mamba max, medusa 36-50 3300KV motor, 3pm 2.4ghz system, and I noticed a problem. The truck drives perfectly but after a while of turning I start to loose power to steering only, also the fan on the motor and esc stop. Whats causing this? :neutral: If needed I can make a video for better clarification.

Let me guess: you're running on 3s lipo right? If so, the BEC is overheating. Disable the BEC (remove red wire) and use an external one.

Yup 3s lipo. But why would it start doing that now? I have been running the internal BEC since I bought it new. (About 2 or 3 years)

Differences in airflow, more load turning the wheels (heavier vehicle?), weakened BEC from running hot in previous setups, etc.

Esc had been run in a rustler and a slash 2wd before with no problems. Ooh well I knew I was pushing it using the internal BEC, time for an external CC BEC.
