What motor are all you guys running?

seems like a lot of people from I have read using the novak 550 motor with another speedo.. Are the 1/8 systems overkill? like the 2650?

I run the Novak HV4.5. With a Xerun 80a esc. Thats in a TRX . I think it provides plenty of power, and the added power and weight of the bigger system is not needed. Of course a 1509 and a MMP would be nice.

I run a Medusa 36x50 4800 KV motor w/ a Mamba Max.

Runs like a top, good power out of the corners, good top end, and it runs nice & cool!

I think the 1400 series Neu motors would be sweet.

I run a Venom Xerun 120 Amp ESC and Medusa 36-50-3300kv motor on 2s Lifepo4 geared 18/42 in the Hyper 10SC and it works well, Motor is yet to get over 90f after a hard run on this set up.

What kind of run times are you getting with these setups? I need to do something.. I am getting like 7 mins with my max combo with a 6900k... was thinking about buying a 1509 2.5 and running it on 3s..

if you get the 1509 you would have to run 3s , i tried it on 2s and it was not fast enough . so i went with the novak 4.5 hv and a mmpro esc on 2s5100 and it flies now .:yes:

What kind of run time are you getting out of it?
