New 1/5 Kershaw Motor

Kershaw Designs has put up a new "coming soon" motor. It is bigger than a 1717 and sells for $160 bucks. Who is going to try it?

I heard they had some new motors and escs coming out soon ( email flyer ), but that looks like some chinese clone to me- just like a 1515 sized clone some guy bought a few months back that suffered an exploded rotor. I'd wait for the Castle 20XX motor myself....

I wouldn't buy one, No way their gonna have Castle qaulity or Customer service for when the smoke gets let out.

This pictures is a false one...
The motor at the left is a 2200kV castle, ok. The center motor is a bigger picture of a castle 1512 1Y 2650kV, just count the number of the fins : http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/8481/img00701.jpg The motor at the risht side is an ORION 2050kV 2 poles with a resized picture : http://www.modelsport.co.uk/_images/...l/ori28803.jpg This is a total joke.... |

He actually stole the design from me, because I designed a super-special 1/5 scale brushless motor...below is the picture of my motor compared to two other well-known brands;
