Is this an upgraded Traxxas Diff for Maxxes and Revos?
|
I rather like that center pin support and it helps keep the diff case from flexing. Either way, it's about time Trx made a diff worth the material it was made of...
|
Yea, plus they added a 3rd spider, which is a good thing.

Spoiler Alert!!!!!
Its for the 1/16th scale. |
Yep!
I was just getting ready to say that...........it's for 1/16th scale. |
Shocked
Why I am shocked, because it is only $20. So what can it be fitted to? It doesn't even say on the site what it is for.

It's time to replace yet another rear diff in my E Revo. The first rear diff failure was some broken teeth on the pinion. This second one stripped out the spider gears. I know we're putting alot of power to the ground now, but I really wish there was a bullet proof option. |

:rofl::rofl: What can be done to upgrade the stock E Revo diffs? I'm seeing Aluminum Diff Cases and Cups. Do they really help that much? |
Well, the aluminum cups do flex less so they should save the spider gears. Shimming the ring/pinion perfectly can help those. Other than that, the best thing to use is probably Mike's 8th scale Revo diffs. Or, just use lots and lots of punch control.
