4xFord's PE Slash 4x4
 

Well, I got one used last night and had to get it running. Oh man its a fast one. It is a stock Platinum Edition and the chassis has been dyed black. I also added this sick proline body my buddy painted up for me. It is so badass, thanks again Josh.:yipi:

So, I knew I wanted more power than the stock VXL setup. So, I took a Mamba Max with extenal bec, added a Novak Fan from an HV-Maxx esc (it bolted straight to the chassis!), and a feiago 10l motor (2600kv), just the random electronics I had laying around. I am running it off 4s 20c 4000mah packs, but I may end up stepping down to 3s. Right now the ESC and lipo stays at 90* after serious bashing, but the motor got up to 180* :surprised:

So I think I will run 3s until I get a higher quality, lower kv motor to replace it. Needless to say though, it is crazy fast.

Thanks Bondo, and ya they are even more addicting than the 2wd ones. I have another on the way and am thinking about a 3rd already. :gasp:

I want to turn one into an 1/8th scale buggy I think. An I kinda want to do an EMaxx style MT with another. Ahh too many ideas!

Well that super high quality feiago let the endbell loose in its second pack through it. So its definately time to upgrade. I would love to find a nice medusa to replace it. Novak HV motor prices have gone way up since these 4x4 SC's are so fond of them.
