$84 isnt too bad, though thats $30 more than the FLM chassis ( albeit without the axle extenders & a few screws ).

The $84 price is MSRP, not street price. You can probably figure it being somewhere in the range of 60-75% of that price from most retailers, so somewhere in the $50-65 range.
