Not trying to be an @$$ but use the search button. Lipo's are an extremely popular topic here. Not to mention Mike stocks plenty of lipos!!!

Mike stocks Hyperion G3 35C packs, great prices, great performance, great quality, all around fantastic packs.
define inexpensive...
well not cheap but not overly expensive if that helps i'm using 2 2s reedy 5000's looking at running 4s packs instead

I think he meant give us your highest price you're willing to spend, and what you WANT to spend.
I think giving him a choice like I did is the fastest and easiest way to make a decision. Way too many choices out there for batteries, and really, only a handful of good ones.

+1. if you are willing to pay a median price for a top quality, proven battery, go for the hyperion g3 packs. preferably 35c. mike (rc-monster) stocks them for good prices if you want to spend as little as possible, you might want to try out the turnigy batteries from hobbycity. personally, i have owned half a dozen and tried over a dozen brands and so far, i like the hyperions and turnigys the best. neu batteries are all right too, but not quite as punchy and they run a little hot. my $.02 |
the hyperions are actually really well priced in mikes shop. The NEUs are a little bit more expensive i believe. and the bottom of the line would be hobbycity lipos.
I use the NEu's personally and like them. never had experience with the hyperions but hear good things. |
