Yokomo 4wd buggy
2 Attachment(s)
Finally, the all new, all woven carbon fiber Yokomo MR-4BX 4WD buggy. The spur gear and slipper system are the same as the Assciated B4 and T4 vehicles as well as the shocks and probably few other things. It will be available anytime now. 532 dollars is quite pricy. Like the price of a good 1/8 scale buggy. Too bad you cant use more than 6 cells without mods. There isn't even enough space for a E.S.C such as the MGMs or BKs.
Here are the pics: |
I would say $532 is an outrageously price for that buggy, considering it has no electronics in it and some parts are taken from a T4 (which is half the price). Gonna be very expensive to get one of those set up with brushless.

why are some buggies soooo expensive? lol i dont see much taht is so REVOLUTIONARY!
|
I have a rising storm that I'm sticking with.

Hey, dont say that its very pricy just because it has some EA parts. This buggy is made in Japan and Japanese machines are VERY pricy. You have not seen anything, yet. Tamiya is- as have been said- working on their own top of the line 4WD buggy which is going to be a double deck CF machine with shaft driven system. I expect it to be nothing less than vigorously expensive. Also, when it comes to electric buggies, I think tamiya is the best. I'm still missing the Top Force Evolution and the Avante.

Well that's about everything.......Hey, Kyubi, what are you doing here?!!
|
Do you mean the dark impact? I Love tamiya buggies, but I don't know, the dark impact looks a little sloppy with the sloping driveshaft, hidden motor, servo position and I heard it could only use stick packs.
|
Dark Impact doesn't have any CF though, so I think Tamiya might still have something up their sleeve.
As for the price listed for this buggy, could it just be that: the list price? Very often when a new vehicle comes out, they only list the MSRP of it, not what hobby shops will be able to sell it at. |
Why do you need more than 6 cells? You aren't wanting to go 70 on dirt, are you?
|
Believe it or not, the list price is over 750 dollars.
