Taller front body post for Xray 808
 

I've got a Xray 808-E. I picked up a couple of new bodies for it off ebay, pre-painted and trimmed. The only problem I'm having is that it hits the corner of my battery. Is there a taller front body post that can raise the front of the body 1/4 inch or so? Or should I try and shim the one that's there now, something like this? If I shim it will I need a new screw?

you could use just about anything as a spacer, but you should go with longer screw if you are spacing it very much.
