fried aveox motor
had a 36/30/1,5 2000kv motor i should have checked temps but i was excited to be driving on a track i did not, it was a hot day may have been slightly over geared well the battery it the lvc and the car would shutter so i checked another battery then a motor to see if it was the esc, nope noticed that the motor was very free spinning not the way a 4 pole should
looking to move up to a neu 1415 2200kv ( the 1515 wont fit motor mount low to chassis) in rc8 w/ mamba monster will i have any issues with this motor proper gearing of course, the summer sun is brutal with temps |
I ran a castle/neu 1515 in my rc8 with the AE conversion kit. Clearance to the rear chassis brace was tight, but it worked fine. Believe I ran 14/50, and I'd guesstimate you could go 13T or maybe 12T pinion with 50T spur before the motor would hit the rear chassis brace.

You could shim the cd diff bulk with washers/spacers, if I'm understanding correctly to mount the 1515.

you are right i could shim it that is the problem its to low , but the price is nice for the 1415 as well
