Best full size servo for CRT .5

I looked around a bit and studied BrianG's thread where he was looking for the best mini servo for the CRT .5, but I have the extended chassis so I'd like to run a full size.

Should I just pick something out that has about 60-100 oz/in and pretty fast speed and give it a try? I'm not really particular to any brand, so I would just as well go with any of the Futaba, Hitec, JR, etc.

I have this servo in my buggy right now: http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store....12sec_/_46.5g

Maybe I should move that into the CRT .5 and get a better servo for the buggy?

HITEC hs-5645mg digital ultra tourque would be a good servo. I happen to have one if you are interested pm me.

The 5645 seems like a good option. It definitely has more than enough torque. The 5625 might be good too, trade some of that torque for faster speed.

Ended up picking up a Hitec HS-965MG (0.10 sec and 144 oz/in at 6V). Should be more than enough. Might even take the cheaper Blue Bird for the CRT .5 and put the Hitec into my buggy.

I run a 7955TG and a 985mg IIRC... If you go overkill on the power you might as well overkill the steering...

Thats what i use in my 8ight t 2.0 "7955tg".I also use the hobbico version of it in my boys muggy"cs170" identical specs.

That Hobbico one has been tempting me for awhile, everyone says its the same as the 7955TG just badged differently and slightly cheaper. Might try that if my Turnigy HV767 ever goes, but it's been great so far, hell of a servo for $60.

I jumped from a futaba 9451 .10 and 140oz to a Ace 1015 and OMG the difference is insane!

I now run the futaba in my CORR truck and it's more than enough, that servo you got should be ok for the buggy just won't have the torque in corners but you will sure be very responsive and quick in a straight line.

Sorry a I'm a bit late but...

I had a Hitec HS-645 in my CRT.5 and found it a bit slow.

I've put a HS-7940TH in my new build and love the speed but I wonder about the quality. See this youtube vid of the brand new servo for the audio of the crunchy gears... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEkhzjwSnXw

Next time I might try a Futaba BLS-451???
