Carbon GTP Road run
Finally got around to videoing my GTP. Ran pretty good but I need another wheel option. The foams don't grab like I would like but then again it might have been the street. It is pretty quick but compared to when it was geared higher it is slow. Fun none the less.

Looks like the street is your problem with those foams. You'll have better luck with rubber tires. Or find a different street with a better surface for your foams to work.

I am in the market for some pre-glued ones now. The first set I had, could not stand up to the torque of the motor upon acceleration. Ripped the tire right off the wheel.

GRP Rally Premounts....

Looked for those but no joy... Looking to get the Ofna treaded mounted tires. Should be good for what I want to do.

Another Beast run (video)
After the runs with the foams, I have upgraded my wheels to Ipanema racing slicks. Improved traction was immediate but I am going to need to loctite the grub screw in the pinion. The Castle/Flux 2200 is a torque monster on 5s. I have backed the screw out and threw the pinion twice. It caused this taping to end shorter than I wanted.

stop useing grub screws and just put the pinion on with red locktight, thats what i have been doing for afew years now and i havent lost a pinion since, if you need to remove it just use a heat gun or a lighter

I will look into that. Considering I am going to run 6s before the end of the summer...I want to make sure the spur stays in place.
