hacker C50 maxx with a snaped shaft...

I snaped the 3mm shaft on my C50, has anyone had any luck replacing the rotor with one from a different motor??

There is a 5mm shaft upgrade for that motor IIRC....

snellemin 07.01.2010 03:09 PM

New 5mm rotor is 75 bucks from aero-model.

the rotor from an L size motor will work i have used before, i had the same issue with my shaft, but for only $10 price difference for the L motor to use its shaft the quality is not the same

but its the stator that is 4pole, does the rotor have to match, are they 2,4,6, pole rotors?

i dont know if there is an easy fix i would like to get a good quality rotor for my c-50 if this works

Yes, they have to match.

2 pole is N-S
4 pole is N-S-N-S
6 pole is N-S-N-S-N-S

This is the Magnetic Configuration of the Stator AND the Rotor.

Mismatching these doesn't work.
