Can a CC motor can be used to replace the Flux can?

Just as the subject states, I'm interested in knowing if the traditional CC 2200 green motor shell can be used to replace the shell on the Flux 2200 motor.

Reasons for this would be more choices for motor fans, better clearance under the motor to the chassis, etc.

Should be internally the exact same motor so yes.

I'm hoping someone from CC will chime in. I'm guessing that the windings are glued in.

I've got an old Hacker motor I could examine, but that really wouldn't tell me for sure on the CC build.

Yes the windings are epoxied in, they have to be. The rotor and all would be interchangeable. Inside the can they are both identical.

+1

Unfortunately, the stator is epoxied into the can, so replacing the can would be very difficult to do without damaging the stator and windings.
