Help with EagleTree connection?

I tried my EagleTree for the first time today, and when I was connecting it things seemed right, but when I got home and looked at the data and looked at the wiring again something obviously isn't.

I run a dual 2S saddle pack setup, and I made the series connector built into the leads on the MMP. I thought I could still connect the EagleTree with this setup, but it only logged one 2S pack's voltage.

You can see the pic of how I connected it. Max current was about 86A and max power was just above 600W which would mean a voltage of about 7V under load (this matches what the logger recorded as the low pack voltage). The buggy seemed to be doing full speed and power though as if it was running on 14.8V. Was the EagleTree just reading improperly because how I had it connected? Because both packs were at the same voltage after the run and took the same mah to recharge, just as if it was a normal run on 4S.

What do I need to do to connect the logger correctly? Do I have to put the EagleTree before the series adapter?

You need one plug on your esc. Then make a series connector that you can plug into the esc when your not using the eagle tree. When you want to use the eagle tree you unplug the series connector and plug it into the eagle tree and plug the eagle tree into the esc.

It's reading 2s because it is only measuring the voltage off the left pack (in your pic above). Current is correct though because it's a series circuit. If you want to connect it right, you need to put it between the ESC and the Y cable.

Yeah after looking it over a bit more that's what I figured, thanks guys! Besides the user error on my part I really like the EagleTree, very neat tool.
