Email RPM to make a Savage Flux skidplate!

We've started a little petition at RCU to get RPM to make us a new, protective skid plate for our Savage Flux to help prevent damage to our transmissions and drive train during heavy bash or racing sessions. Due to the TVP design change on the Flux, the standard Savage X skid plates do not work without serious modification. I personally would much rather spend my money on skid plate protector dedicated and designed for our Flux's, especially if came from an awesome company like RPM that makes great products that help make all our RC cars less prone to breaking and more time having fun!

Do your part and please send a polite email to RPM Rc products, asking them to make us another quality RPM product to help protect our expensive Savage Flux's! Thanks so much!

Hmmm - never had any damage occur down there from anything, nor have I heard of anyone else? You?

Doubt if I would add anything like that to my truck.

I'd prefer to see them do something like a better bumper set up.

2 of the std savage al or plastic crossbraces and a piece of plastic/delrin cut to size... No need to get rpm involved, unless you need a purple one (and that indicates something al by itself).

It would probably sell well, so would a conversion chassis that fits a mammouth body and has the batteries MOUNTED IN THE FRONT. But I do not see either happening soon.

Or even just use a piece of Lexan with zip ties to attach it to the frame.

zip ties are annoying, hard to unscrew them when you need to access something...

+1

if there is anything the flux needs, it is a better bumper set up. i'm always bending and breaking the screws in the rear bumper and a heavier duty set up would be perfect. also, a shock tower brace would be nice too for the 4 shock set ups. i run 8 nitro shocks on mine to fix this problem.
