Mounting a controller on my EMaxx

Can people please show pics on how they mounted a BK-Warrior controller on their stock EMaxx? I am putting a 9918 controller with a 8L motor on my EMaxx and not sure on the best sport to mount the controller. THANKS!@:018:

Most of us like to mount it on a L bracket where the second motor would be. It seems to work out well.

Cool - thanks. Have a pic?

I sure don't. If you search around there is a few. Dafni has one on his revo conversion.

Here is a pic of what i did. I went to the local DIY store and found this L brace by all the shelving supplies and did a little modification with a dremel. Then I used a couiple 3 mm screws and bolts with thread lock. I hope it helps.

One suggestion is to make it atleast even or higher with the battery bar/strap so your packs cab easily be inserted.

If you look in my "G2R thus far pics" thread you can see some pics of my nylon mount, a bit different but works really nicely.

I picked up one of these on ebay - it mounts where the 2nd motor would.
I think it was made by rc-solutions but their site is having problems atm.

Cool - looks clean. I might get one since my stuff is still packed up.

For today I zipped tied it to one of the blue battery straps. The 8L motor is very powerful for such a small truck. I was doing wheelies even in 2nd gear. Very nice.

I bought one of these to use as a mount:
