g2r center shafts
i'll receive my g2r chassis next week and was wondering what i should use for the center shafts. tranny will be gmaxx single speed with flm half case. thanks, carl.
The G2R chassis comes with centre drive shafts. Check the pic in this link: http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...od=GMX06-CH-AL

sorry, i'm getting the roller so i didn't notice. thanks!
no problem tallyram :)
i didn't want to start new thread, so whats the best servo saver for the g2r? i have a hitec hs 5955 tg. would the ue gen 4 work. would it be a drop in fit?
Maxx steering will not work. I use the stock steering in my G2R and have no problems
The 5955tg is a awesome servo. I have bought two and love both.
i should like mine then!
You will! This servo is like a dream come true. Anything with MT tires should have one.
can't wait to try everything out. i'm putting it all together right now. the front assembly is giving me quite a time though.
i'm trying to install the outdrive cups from the g2r kit, do i line them up so the set screws go into the hole on the outdrive shaft, or do i put the cups on loose and fit the dogbones and then tighten the set screws wherever they end up as long as the dogbones fit good? how much play should there be between the cups and dogbones?
it should be lined up with the hole. what i would do if there is any play, which there should be, i would put some fuel tubing into the drive cups to make the dogbones centered in the cups.
nice. thats what i was hoping to hear, wasn't sure though. maybe i'll have this thing scorching nitro by the end of next week!
