6s lipo charging ((help))

what is a safe amp charge for a 6s pack? I am new to lipo's and do not want to ruin my batteries. The manuel for my charger says to charge 6s at a 1amp charge, but i think that will take forever to charge. Is it safe to charge it a 5 amps for a quicker charge time? WHAT HAVE YOU GUYS DONE??? (((HELP ME OUT)))

Charge at 1C not 1 Amp. If it's a 5000mah pack for example charge at 5 amps, 5500mah = 5.5 amps

What charger, power supply (watts), and lipo do you have?

I told him to just charge at 5 amps...
