faceplate swap Neu-Castle 2200 and Flux Tork 2200?
Hey Guys, New here, been on Traxxas and Savage-Central forums for a while. Both the Neu-Castle 2200Kv (green, not black) motor in my E-Revo and the Tork 2200Kv motor in my Savage Flux have had prob 100 runs each, mostly in sand and dirt, so I'm gonna open them and clean/lube them since they're both out of warranty.
My question is can I swap the faceplates? My E-revo motor mounts using the faceplate but only has 4 holes (only 2 that I can use), yet my savage motor mounts using clamps and has 12 holes in the unused faceplate. I could sure use that faceplate to better mount my e-revo motor. If there is a link to a tutorial on rebuilding these motors Please let me know, thanks. |
Pick up a couple Castle repair kits for $25 each with new bearings, rotor, and faceplate:
