Rustler Shafts ???

Is there an upgrade for the Rustlers Cv's
or what shafts will work on the Rustler?

FLM shafts FTW

Yeah Mike sells the FLM stuff. I believe you need to replace the stub axles and maybe the rear arms/carriers (with FLM) for the FLM CVDs to work. I'm not sure since I don't have the FLM CVDs on my Rustler. I'm using the MIP kit which I like very much, just FYI...

FLM makes a drop in kit for the rustler, no upgrades needed. $48 part # FLM26315

After breaking four output yokes in a week I replaced them with Traxxas #5550 (IIRC) Traxxas Jato drive shafts. A cheap option, 1 minute customizing and I didn't break a driveshaft again.

I thought they did... but in the RCM store Mike only has two FLM CVD kits and they both require additional parts per the description.

It's this one http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...M26315slashcvd

It is confusing because it doesn't specify that it fits the rustler, but I assure you the 2wd slash rear end and the rustler rear end are one and the same and that these cvd's help the ol' rusty out:yes:

Correction: For a Stock Rustler or Stampede, you need this kit: http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...lm26515&cat=31

I just installed this kit a month ago on my Rustler. No probs and super strong!

Si Senor. But the picture is old. Read the description. I definitely received new model CVD's.
