Looks identical to a cutdown SWHAMI for a Stampede ??

Looks like it'll work well, You'll need it with all that tire shredding power.

the one in the pic look like its got Plastic hubs
and looks like thin aluminum stock to looks like a maxx would just bend that in half at a high angle.
thay don't even have this one That I used on there site.... not that i could find.

Close but NOT
It was like a FULL rear skid plate just like on the maxx but did Not even come close to fiting on my pro 15 chassis so i cut it and triming and fileing .
and now it clamps to whatever skid plate i would like to put it on.
the soft rubber tires work good nice and stable on a long Wheelie Alot more stable than the bumper was........

And its BETTER looking than that Dumb looking single wheel Unstable junk.

or the cheap traxxas ones.

plus I like the HIGH angle over most of the junk out there that are Low angle.

High angle Wheelies are cool.

now i can get a New Aluminum bumper now that im not going to destroy it with my " Under powered Junk pile ".

So, you're saying it was actually a proper skidplate for some other vehicle, and you just trimmed it down to fit your maxx? It took me about 2 seconds to realize the wheels/ axle part of the skid plate looked too perfect to be entirely home made/ made from scrap- been around too long to not recognize an off-the-shelf wheelie bar design...

BTW the axle is nothing other than a aluminum Stand off .

Scrap or junk..... from old Broken or useless items or an obsolete item with no use in its current state or configuration.

Just like this one out of a 1967 Viking Reel to Reel other than this one is longer but can be cut to size its a verry common everyday part
got like a box of this stuff and plenty of aluminum flat stock .
i just did not have the small size ruber tires that were on it that would look Proper.
thats why its not a Home made one.
so i Modified the one i had here as scrap.

http://www.frontiernet.net/~radioman193193/standoff.JPG

no its Not homemade never sed it was..................
its a cludge setup.
and yes it was from my rc scrap box
and so was the skid plate that its mounted on.

but http://www.swami-rc.com/default.htm dont have what this one WAS

it was just a long flat UGLY skidplate that looked like it was for a Exteneded chassis as a low angle wheelie bar .
and that would Never fit on my pro 15 so i did some cutting and shapen its still not 100% complete but works good for now.
it keeps the bumper off the ground.

i'm still not sure why you need it?

isnt it just extra weight?
