Need Jammin, Mugen, Losi, etc truggy arm dimensions, please help!

Break out your rulers gentlemen! I am trying to find a good candidate for a replacement arm for a savage wide arm conversion. I am looking to get some measurements for some common and widely available truggy arms.

I'd like to get F and R if possible, but I'll take F or R only if you have it.

Pictured are the dimensions I'm looking for in comparison to a stock savage arm. If there is a truck I'm not thinking about that might work, please lmk! Ultimately I want to take the whole arm and steering assembly. A std Savage arm is shown vs a hyper st arm for comparison. The HST arm is 20mm wider, but too narrow to be of use.

If you could just list lengths of A, B and C (in mm hopefully) I would really appreciate it! I'd like to get the pin to pin distance on the arm length, not the total length please.

If you could take a pic like the one below (because you just happened to have the parts around...) that would be supercrazyawesome.
Thanks

:) Nice. I was thinking of doing this on the maxx... C-hub instead of pivot ball. Subscribed. I have an 8b arm I will check out...for B & C of course;)

Here's a pic of an rc8t front arm along side an lst2 arm. I don't have a loose rear arm but I'm guessing it would have the same dim's.
Truggy dim's are- A= 139mm / 5.472in
B= 56mm / 2.205in
C= (If you were to cut it) maximum 25mm / 0.984in

Savage Flux X :
A : 120mm
B : 69mm
C : 33.5mm

Mugen MBX6T front arm:
A : 123mm
B : 50.5mm
C : 0mm, but you can cut to a maximum of 26mm

Mugen MBX6T rear arm:
A : 145mm
B : 51mm
C : 0mm but you can cut to a maximum of 24mm

Awesome work so far guys! The mugen arm is actually offering some interesting possibilities due to the pillow ball design.

I want to keep my 4WS I have, but most knuckle/chub designs build in a lot of caster. fine for the front, but I was trying to figure out how to deal w/ the rear (where knuckles would also have to be turned around..)

Do you happen to know the "B" length of the upper F arm Nard? If you happen to know the pillow ball center to center, that would be awesome too. Its a pain not being able to see these parts in person!

Thanks again.

I don't happen to know it, but I just checked for you.

B for the upper front arm is 30mm
Eye 2 Eye for the front hubs is ~44mm

It's indeed a pain to try and fit stuff together without being able to actually fit and see what's what. If you need more measurements just keep asking ;).

Thank you, I really appreciate it. I'd be lucky if my LHS had 8ight-T parts. Mostly traxxas, plane, & heli. :/

The upper arm would not be a good fit w/o lots of work, but perhaps I can come up with something else. Just like a tie rod for the upper arm, just have to figure out how to match to the pillow ball...

@Nard

You wouldn't happen to know the thread type on the pillow ball would you?
Ie 5mm, 6mm, etc?

No problem if you don't, I'm trying to score some mugen parts, but may take a bit of time

Finnster, I'm sorry I didn't answer before.

I just measured the other side of the thread (thread - wide - narrow - ball), the narrow part was 4.2mm if that's any help.

Thanks, I'm guessing its a 5mm thread then. :)

Been searching for cheap parts, but mugens tend to go for a good price.

Gonna get some lower arms, see how the fit is, and go from there

True, with AE I got awesome steals with Mugen none.

You could check out Dinball on eBay (RC-Mart). He offers from lower arms for $9 with free shipping I believe.

He has some a while back, but I missed them. I put an order together from the site. Shipping is not too bad, but free would be better. He is so much lower than all the best its still a good deal either way.

Looks like the bay is still the best to get the F carriers and axles tho. Buying all the little bits seperate gets pricey.

I'm guessing its somewhere near 100mm...

Going to check before I hop into bed ... gimme a sec.

EDIT: 110mm :)
