1/5 onroad with 1515 and MMM???
 

I have 1/5 onroad that I have converted to brushless. I am waiting for Castles ICE HV to complete. But just for giggles, I have a 1515 3d and a Mamba Monster laying around, if I install this setup in my 21 lb 4X4 car with 6 cells will there be any harm to the motor or ESC? This not only temperary no hard core running. Thanks.

sure if your not hard on it, watch your temps

Not recommended at all even if you gear really low. You should running at least , yes at least a 1717 and even then its not a good idea. You can but you risk it going poof! 21pounds? Thats alot. My 1/7 on road weighs 13 pounds fully loaded

Gear it for less than 20mph, set timing to 0, and punch control to 100%. Watch the temps too ! That's not a good idea indeed ^^
