Castle sells a motor repair kit which includes a new rotors for $25. Should be a cheap fix.

How old is the motor ? Looks like the rotor is starting too or has become detached from the shaft . The rebuild kit will make it like new but if its still under warantee Castle will replace it for free .

The engine is 7 months old. I have always purchased in local shops. but they say they can help me. no guarantee. it was my own fault, they say. buy a repair kit costs 25dollar + 30dollar just to send him to Belgium. This kit is just very rare. I can not find here in europe My exuses for my bad english |
Best bet.
Yea your best bet would be to shoot CC an email describing your problem and attaching these pics. Ask them directly what your options are. Considering that you are in Belgium yes it will cost you to ship things back and forth, but that is the nature of R/C from an international standpoint. For what It might cost you to get parts and repair that used motor you might be better off just ordering a new motor from CC. They are having a sale on old stock items right now. These things do happen. Especially if you use your R/C and play hard. Thats just the nature of R/C in general.

Castle motors are now on sale, you can buy a brand new 1512 (1800kv) for 60 dollars and the repair kit for your 1515 and combine them in a single package to save money on shipping. The 1512 will be better for the buggy since is lighter, lower kv and has enough power to move it around. You will get a repaired 1515 for spare and a brand new 1512 for about 110 dollars in total.. |

You are right that it would be a nice deal. but I have not abused the engine and so old it now either. shame about the local shop so that they make me leave. I am customer for years. I once looked at the site of castle. You can only pay with credit cart. and I do not have in my possession @Thomas: you get e-mail! |
