Pretty sure any idiot with a gun and a line of sight should be able to take one down in any real situation.
They are probably just using this to catch a glimpse of the media as to divert us from what is really going on. A little laughter is always good, helps us look away from the fact that that war will never be over, and it is most likely not regarding terror. Cough oil cough... |
kind of hard
Your being kind of hard on them don't you think? Maybe they plan on using them for delivering for Pizza Hut, which will surely put them ahead of us on delivery times. OR maybe this is their new service for making sure that their Gov exec's will get to work each day making sure that nothing like riots or terror attacks will keep the Gov from operating properly through such disasters. It will definitely make a great toy gift for their kids. I can see many uses for such a great invention. In fact hasn't the rest of the world already been using such toys for recreational vehicles? It has to be a joke, right?

I agree, it has to be a joke. NO country is THAT stupid! It has to be a deterent of some sort.

I realize we like to make fun of other nations' military toys.
Google 'Sunburn Missile' - one can cut a carrier in half. Underestimating the enemy is never a good strategy. |
Can't imagine those things are very good at flying or handling on the water. Typical situation where someone tries to combine 2 wildly different items into one, and winds up with something that is mediocre at both.
|
I thought those things went obsolete in 1924?
|
I like the 'radar evading' part- damn thing has a massive cross section with those funny winglets and huge exposed engine/ prop. Looks like fun though...

Funny thing is, they aren't capable of crap. They buy everything from other countries...

That's a fact.
You didn't build your car, but the ignition key still works. :) |
