Is it over?

Hey guys I was trying to pull a motor wire out of my mamba monster and the receiver wire completely ripped the wire for the receiver out of my esc. I tried soldering it all back together but now it's not working. Should I try to solder it correctly or should i spend the $70 and send it in for repair?

so the wire that goes to the reciver riped out of the esc?

it shouldn't be too hard to resolder it:neutral:

I'v never soldered on a MMM, so I'm not sure how tight it is inside the case...

Castle only charge $15 IIRC to fix wires

You just remove the whole ESC board from the case. It's not an issue of getting in there, just that it can be tough to solder those small wires onto the tiny solder pads without shorting between them with solder or overheating the pads or nearby components.

I'm going to have to get on the phone with castle to see whats going on

PS Now you've attempted to solder to the board it is $70 if you've damaged the controller unless they take pity on you.

Prior to that it would have been $15 IIRC if the solder pad was still intact.
