mamba max pro and mamba 2650 in 4s?

i just bought a rc8t and i am about to install the conversion kit in it.

i already have the mamba max pro and a bunch of 2s lipo and i would like to run 2 of them (i have 6 pairs of the same brand and mah)
so i was wondering if running in 4s with the 2650kv motor would be a good option?

i am planning to convert my rc8t in a sc8 later.. (much smaller wheels)

let me know if i'm on the right track and what pinion size i should start with!

Thanks for your help guys!!

The 2250 on 4s would be better due to the motor being designed more towards the truggy line. Also, if you use the mm pro I would install an external bec to help ease the temps a bit due the the weight of the truggy.

In saying this, your set up will work just pay close attention to temps

I run the mmm w/the 1520 on 5s in my Truggy and it runs cool as can be. My set up is overkill, but it runs great!

You could also extend the fan wires to take power from the rx. That way the fan runs all the time instead of only after temos get high.

My MMPro's never go above 100f, and I've used all sorts of motors in 1/8 cars. Castle/neu 2200kv, 2650kv, and 1512 1800kv and many other motors on 4-6s lipo.
