5VDC Fans...

Well, I've been looking for 5VDC 25-35mm fans (Maybe even 45 if I'm feeling adventurous) to help the Mamba and Medusa (Mamba Max on 4s... With a Medusa 3300kV).

I've found sites where it's up to $10 for a fan, some are $5.. Even some that are around $3.

And the site.. netsemi.com which says it's 1cent on froogle, (Google Shopping), but you really just call to order..

Anyways, where does everyone buy their smaller-ish fans from?
I refuse to pay $4 for a miniature fan...

Waiting for BrianG's take..

Do you have any surplus electronics shops in your area? This is the type of place I'm talking about: http://www.skycraftsurplus.com/

I go there when I'm in Orlando, I can usually spend a whole afternoon there browsing all the cool stuff. Even their 5v 25mm fans are still $2.50 each. I think you might have a hard time finding them for less than a few bucks a pop.

I've used these as MMM replacements:

If you need a fan, just get one of these for your whole setup.

Nah, not around here...Not that I know of.
I guess $2 isn't that much, but price in the shipping..
Sheesh, that's like $5 a fan!

Hmm, I might... how do I mount that.. :oh:

Zip ties. And you'll need a place to mount the power inverter...
