Suggest a LiPo/NiMh + balance charger / AC/DC
It also has to do AC/DC and charge 7 cell + NiMh and 3S Lipo
I'm also looking for 5000mah+ LiPo 3S i need two of them for BL e-maxx i've seen 3S packs that are $200 a pack :surprised: For a charger i've been looking at the Hyperion EOS0606i AC/DC How long will it take to charge a 7 cell NiMh or a 3S LiPo with it? Maybe Hyperions new Duo charger would fit me better but it seems to be out of stock and i could buy two EOS060i for it's price almost. |
Don't all respond at once now.

It really depends on the current desired and the number of packs you want to charge. A triton EQ or triton 2 EQ will do the job , but there's dozens of others too.
How long it takes depends also on the selected current. |
To charge two 3S 5000mah packs in series at a 1C charging rate (5A in this case) you want a charger capable of approx. 150W. I would suggest finding something that can handle 200-300W so there is some headroom, as many newer packs can be charged at 2C and higher.
Look at the iCharger series. The 106B+ is their entry model, and still is very capable for about $100. Now it is not an AC charger, so you will need a power supply, but look at the thread about using a Proliant 12V 47A server power supply, you can get them for cheap and people have had great results. |
