Black Friday / Turkey Day
 

First off I want to wish everyone here who celebrates Thanksgiving a Happy Turkey Day!

I'm kind of excited this year. Usually I never even step outside on Black Friday. But the wife and I have been talking of finally getting a new TV. So hopefully if all goes well we are going to get a 36 inch LCD for under 200 at Walmart.

Other specials for me at least are a new set of Calibers from Amain on their Black Friday sale.

Hope you all fill to the brim on good food and family love. If you go out on Friday stay safe.

A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad
attitude and an even worse vocabulary.

Every word out of the bird's' mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with
profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by
consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything
else he could think of to 'clean up' the bird's vocabulary.

Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled
back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even more rude.
John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in
the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and
screamed.
Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard
for over a minute..

Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the
freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and
said "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions.
I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully
intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and
unforgivable behavior."

John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude.

As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in
his behavior, the bird spoke-up, very softly, "May I ask what the turkey
did?"

Try not to get trampled or otherwise accosted in the belligerent frenzy that is Walmart on Black Friday...

Seriously, I am considering paying a bit more to play it safe at another store. However the Vizio on sale at Wally world is a great deal at the price.

i do 4 am black friday every year, walmart 1st time last year and never again. they have a store full of people cause they are open and items wrapped in plastic on pallets. everybody is waiting for the right time to sell, and the employees cut the plastic off and the mob starts. way crazy. i just left empty handed from the electronics area and it took me almost 1hr to push myself threw the crowd to leave the store.

never again for me!
